Who We Are

Mission Urban BodyWorks is a boutique personal fitness training studio in Old Town Alexandria. We specialize in addressing women’s unique fitness needs. We are constantly expanding our knowledge base to better enrich your experience. We will guide you to better health using the safest, most effective, and most current methodology available.

In the privacy of our studio, you will experience the benefits and rewards only found in a professionally designed one on one training session. We will build both your muscle strength and bone density through resistance training, free weights, Whole Body Vibration technology, rubberized resistance, and body weight exercises. We will improve your posture and balance through core stability exercises using Pilate's based movements, stability balls, and balance enhancing strategies. We will help you achieve better flexibility employing the latest, safest, and most effective stretching techniques. Finally, we can address severe postural, structural and injury related issues using state of the art Active Isolated Stretching methodology and techniques developed by Aaron Mattes, MS, RKT, and LMT.

Creativity is at the core of everything we do. Attention to detail is the key to our success, and your success. We don’t design routines; we create results.
